Birthday Theme – Junior and Senior Infants

This month, we have been working on the theme of birthdays and celebrating all of our special days. We learned birthday vocabulary through poems and stories, explored the months of the year in maths, and wrote invitations and birthday cards while practising our letter formation.

We also enjoyed learning and playing traditional birthday games such as Pass the Parcel, Musical Chairs, and Statues. Along the way, we discussed the importance of including others in our celebrations and how to invite people kindly and respectfully.

We then, of course, finished our birthday theme with a classroom birthday party! Look how much fun we had — our classroom was transformed into a party space full of smiles, games, and celebration.
