Olé!
6th Class had a very interesting start to the year with the arrival of an exchange Spanish student to join their class for two weeks. Leyre, who was staying with a family within the parish, fitted into class and school life as though she had always been a pupil at Aughadreena NS. We were sorry to see her go but very glad of the visit.

Lavey Ladies GAA
We were delighted to have a visit from some members of the Lavey Ladies football team. Five ladies made the visit, four of them past pupils of Aughadreena NS! The team have been extremely successful this year. They brought with them a 9-a-side tournament cup along with the league and championship cups. They also won the Annette Coen Memorial Cup this summer. Well done to all and thank you for the lovely crisps and drinks you left for us :D

It is very hot in Zambia. Sr Mary Courtney thanked us for our donation last year. We hope to make the St Brigids

Cars such as McLaren, Ferrari, Aston Marin, Porsche and Rolls Royce passed through Dublin, Cavan, Donegal, Mayo, Spanish Point, Blarney, Cork and Kilkenny before reaching the finish line in Wexford Town.
