5th and 6th JEP Outing to Croke Park

5th and 6th Classes were invited to Croke Park on Monday 20th of May for the 2019 Junior Entrapreneur Showcase. It was a nice surprise after all the hard work and time put into the making and sale of our school CD. It was an early start as we had to leave the school at 7am sharp! We were too excited to feel tired (not sure we can say the same for Mrs Lynch, Mrs McGovern and Mrs Fitzpatrick though :D) When we got to the RDS we set up our stall ready to show off our project. We were grouped into teams so we could take turns maning the stall, telling people about our CD and the work we had done with JEP throughout the year. The Daily Mile

Aughadreena NS has been taking part in walking/running the daily mile each day. Every class, Infants to 6th, have been enjoying the fresh air and physical exercise. Some have been keeping time so as to beat their own record while others have been enjoying completing the daily mile in an uncompetitive, relaxed manner. Pictured below are the pupils of Aughadreena along with Aine Reilly, from Cavan Sports Partnership, who visited us to congratulate us on our achievement.
