Well done to all our boys and girls who proudly represented Aughadreena NS in the annual Schools Cross Country Running Competition! Cross country is no easy feat, with huge fields of runners, sometimes numbering 200–300 participants, and challenging courses across fields that can be mucky and slippy underfoot. It’s certainly not for the faint-hearted, so everyone who takes part should be very proud of themselves for their effort, determination and sportsmanship. To come home with two sets of medals this year was a fantastic achievement – well done to all our runners!
