A Visit From Sr Mary Courtney

Sr Mary Courtney came to visit us and tell us all about her work in Livingstone, Zambia. She told us about the children she meets and how many of them cannot attend school. The books, uniforms, pencils etc are very expensive so they cannot afford them. We learned that their bags are very heavy and many of the children have to walk a long distance to get to school. It is very hot in Zambia.

Sr Mary Courtney thanked us for our donation last year. We hope to make the St Brigids Day crosses again this year and send some more money to Zambia.
